Becoming a professional golfer usually takes time however, Rory McIlroy was able to turn pro golfer only at the age of 17. He is also known for winning the 2011 U.S Open, breaking record held by Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus with the score of 268 and PGA Championship, also the youngest player to win a PGA Tour Playoff.

Rory McIlroy was born in 4th may, 1989 in Holywood, County Down, Northern Ireland, and United Kingdom to his parents “Gerry mcIlroy” as a father and “Rosie McDonald” as mother. Rory came to know golf due to his father when he could barely walk. His father patiently coached Rory through this sport. Rory McIlroy was able to hit the golf for 40-yard drive only at the age of two. In order to support his golf education, his father started working three places and his mother started night sift too and Rory left school in 16 years just to focus his golf practice.
